In Sports Excellence 9 students will enhance their athletic skills through fitness and conditioning development. Throughout the semester students will have to plan, prepare and respond to challenges through an active lens. As well, work together and improve team dynamic skills. The challenges students face will be incorporated in a variety of activities including sports, games and active lifestyle activities. Students will evaluate the impact of confidence, emotions, self-awareness, rest and relaxation to improve performance. Lastly, students will examine the impact of perspective and identity on athletes.
